Shane Quint has joined Can/Am Technologies as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing with him decades of experience in software development, data systems, and enterprise technology leadership.
His background spans both startup and enterprise environments, with a proven track record of driving innovation and operational excellence across a variety of industries.
Shane began his career in 1985 after earning a degree in Computer Science. He started as a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems, later sharpening his skills in software development and database technologies through roles at Burlington Northern Railroad and other consulting engagements.
In 1995, Shane founded Quint Consulting Services, Inc., where he built a successful IT consulting firm specializing in web and database technologies. His clients included organizations such as Kroger, United Artists Theaters, The Shane Company, Level 3 Communications, US West, and Colorado Prepaid Tuition.
Shane went on to serve as Vice President of Technology and eventually CTO at Education Sales Management (ESM), overseeing software development, infrastructure, and call center technologies. After ESM was acquired by Xerox Corporation in 2011, Shane became involved with CereScan Corp., first as an investor and later as a full-time executive. As CTO and later President and CTO at CereHealth, he led the development of groundbreaking medical imaging tools, structured medical data platforms, and deep learning systems to support advanced diagnostic solutions.
Shane officially joined Can/Am Technologies as CTO in February 2025. In this role, he focuses on strengthening Can/Am’s technology strategy, advancing product innovation, and scaling development operations to support the company’s continued growth.
