Can/Am Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of cashiering solutions to utilities and local and state government, has announced its new engagement with Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD), California’s sixth largest retail water agency.
The Teller Cashiering Solution is an enterprise, AWS-hosted payment system that unifies cashiering and provides cloud-based technology for cashiering, point of sale, online payments, and back-office processes.
The Teller solution will be implemented to streamline payments for EMWD’s nearly 1 million customers for utility billing, permitting, and accounts receivable through real-time integrations with EMWD’s financial systems. Customers will find the same efficient service for any EMWD payment whether they pay online or in person.
EMWD joins a growing number of Teller clients in California, including the Cities of Bakersfield, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Redding, and San Mateo; and the Counties of Madera, Santa Clara, and Shasta, among others.
Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) is the water, wastewater service and recycled water provider to nearly one million people living and working within a 601-square mile service area in western Riverside County and northern San Diego County.
